Most people’s destiny starts at a tender age and we can talk about the likes of the late Michael Jackson, Ghana’s own DJ Switch and the list goes on.

Sammy Gyamfi is the current National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) also shown interest in politics as a little boy.

However, young Sammy Gyamfi started active politics as a student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

At KNUST, the now firebrand politician joined TEIN got involved in student politics making him become very popular and influential among his peers on campus.

Three Enviable Positions he held as a student.

1. TEIN President At KNUST

At KNUST, Sammy Gyamfi rose through the ranks and got elected as the President of Tertiary Education Institution Network (TEIN), a student youth wing of the National Democratic Congress.

2. Public Relations Officer For Kumasi Mayor, Kojo Bonsu

The buzz around at KNUST got him connected to the former Mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Kojo Bonsu who appointed him the Public Relations Officer (PR) for the assembly.

3. SRC President of Ghana School of Law

After KNUST, Sammy Gyamfi proceeded to the Ghana School of Law. The Ghana School of Law is an educational institution in Ghana for training lawyers. However, ambitious Sammy Gyamfi got elected as the President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) at the Ghana School of Law.
