Broadcast journalist with Accra-based Rainbow Radio 87.5 Afia Adjei Sikapa, has won the news caster of the year award at the just ended Foklex Media Awards 2024.
The 13th edition of Foklex Media Awards was held on May 11, 2024 at the National Theater in Accra.
The event which is the only awards scheme that focuses on awarding all media organisations and personalities across Ghana also donates a car to any media personality who tops the chat with highest votes yearly.
Afia Adjei Sikapa is a versatile journalist with a lot of experience and passion for the radio profession.
Her hard work and consistency in the media space has fetched her other recognitions and awards such as Golden Age Creative Arts and Business Award and many others.
Receiving the award she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to God and all her fans for their unwavering support.
She also thanked Rainbow Radio’s executive producers and management for providing her with the necessary platform for her career growth.
