Biography of Ghanaian Businessman/Politician Thomas Owusu Ansah
Thomas Owusu Ansah popularly known as Nana Bobie Ansah is a born great man from Abesewa in Ashanti Region of Ghana who has impacted so many lives growing up. He is a businessman and a Politician who has earned the respect from everyone that he has met due to his loving nature.
EARLY LIFE & BASIC EDUCATION
Hon Thomas Owusu Ansah started his early life and basic education in his community at Abesewa R/C Primary and JHS where he passed out with flying colors. He created a bond with his community right from childhood.
After his tertiary Education at the University of Ghana, the affable young man has since been a pivot and an inspiration to many young people at Abesewa and Ahafo Ano.
His dedication to humanity and proven track record earned him the chance to become the District Chief Executive for Ahafo Ano South East District in the Ashanti Region. A District he so much loved and has served for a number of years.
Hon. Thomas Owusu Ansah polled 29 ‘YES’ votes out of the 31, representing 93.5 percent of the votes to seal his victory at the election supervised by the District Electoral Commission at Adugyama after he was nominated for the District Chief position. His overwhelming victory signifies his dedication and impact when he was nominated by President Akufo Addo.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
As an educationist, he has a “Diploma In Youth in Development Work” from the University of Ghana before later completing his Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management. Hon. Thomas Owusu Ansah obtained his degree from the University College Of Management Studies.
Few years after his Bachelor’s degree, he gained admission to study Master of Public Administration at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology which he duely completed. After pursuing his MA, he again continued to pursue his MSC in Development Policy and Planning also at the country’s number one University, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

As the DCE of Ahafo Ano South East, Hon. Thomas Owusu Ansah has undertaken a lot of developmental projects since assuming office in 2021. Construction of classroom blocks, Health facilities, rehabilitation project, and road infrastructures, Market infrastructure etc are few. In addition, to the support he gives the disabled people in the community. To top it up, the construction of a there bedroom semi-detached teachers’ quarters with a mechanized borehole has been completed, five thousand dual desks has been provided more than twenty-five boreholes has been constructed as well.
He is a man admired by many both within his party and the opposition party.
