The National Identification Authority (NIA) is expected to commence the issuance of the already printed Ghana cards tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10, 2020, in all the 16 regions of Ghana.
According to the authority, the nationwide distribution of printed Ghana cards is to offer Ghanaians who haven’t received their Ghana card would have the opportunity to receive their cards.
This will help many Ghanaians to meet at least one of the two valid documents needed to register for the new Voters’ register to be compiled by the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana.
But, ahead of tomorrow’s exercise, the authority has outlined ten (10) healthy procedures for the public to follow in order to pick up their Ghana cards.
It is very important for people who are going to pick up their cards to follow in detail the procedures in order to help curtail the spread of the virus.
