Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings has finally disclosed the source of the death of her husband, Jerry John Rawlings. The former president of Ghana died on the morning of Thursday, November 12, 2020.
According to several media reports, Papa J as he was popularly called died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital while receiving treatment.
However, Mrs. Agyeman-Rawlings who briefed the media at her residence said Coronavirus laid its wicked hands on her lovely husband.
He said;
“My husband died after he contracted COVID-19 and was rushed to the intensive care unit of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra”.
Rawlings was 73 years old. He left behind 4 children with his wife Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.
