YouTube, an American online video-sharing platform has deleted Wendy Shay’s new song titled ‘Pray for The world’ from its platform.
Wendy Shay released ‘Pray for the world’ on December 31, 2020, as her own way of making the end of a year that took joy out of the world.
However, Wendy Shay used the popular ‘Jerusalema’ beat for her single without seeking for permission from the actual owner of the beat.
Wendy Shay’s producer, MOG Beats disclosed this in a Twitter post.
He tweeted;
“Why am hearing that a group of people went to report Wendy Shay’s “Pray For The World” video and now YouTube has taken it down for what?!! I am angry!!“
“Ow Ghana so this is how bad you guys hate @wendyshaygh ? I am disappointed I cannot lie to you!,”
