Collins Jumaisi Khalusha claimed he had unprotected sex with all the victims promising to pay them Ghs60.00, a promise he never fulfilled. This shocking detail emerged as detectives revisited Khalusha’s home and uncovered several items linked to the crimes, including a blood-stained hammer.

During their five-hour search on Wednesday morning, the investigative team accompanied by Khalusha found a dressing mirror with fingerprints, a mattress, a blood-stained pillow, a red t-shirt, a pair of pliers, two kitchen knives, four pairs of women’s shoes, and a gunny bag. They also discovered sisal and manila ropes as well as a notebook with hospital receipts bearing a woman’s name. A team was sent to the hospital to verify if the woman had been treated there.

Khalusha, who is believed to have murdered at least 42 women in the city claimed to have met all the victims on the streets with some selling airtime. Detectives identified his house as the primary crime scene after finding blood stains on the walls and floor which Khalusha admitted belonged to some of the victims.

In his confession, Khalusha admitted to killing ten women in 2024 alone. The latest victim was murdered on July 11, just a day before the bodies were discovered at the Kware dump site in the Mukuru slums. The case has sent shockwaves through the community with each new detail painting a more harrowing picture of Khalusha’s actions. Authorities are now focused on piecing together the full extent of his crimes to ensure justice for the victims and their families.
