The Ghana Police Service is set to kick off its nationwide screening exercise for shortlisted recruits on Monday, January 12, 2026, as part of Phase II of the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Programme. Applicants for the Prisons Service, Fire Service, and Immigration Service will receive their respective screening dates after January 15, 2026, the Ministry of the Interior has announced.
According to the Ministry, the documentation review and physical body inspection will run from January 12 to February 4, 2026, covering applicants under the 2025 and 2026 intake window.
Recruitment for this batch opened on November 17, 2025, and closed on December 19, 2025.
Applicants have been instructed to report to their assigned screening centres with both original copies and photocopiesof all required records, including:

Biometric birth certificates

Ghana Cards

WASSCE/SHS certificates

Other academic or professional certificates

Two passport-sized photographs
The Ministry cautioned that failure to appear at the scheduled time may result in automatic disqualification.
Morning-session participants must report by 7:00 a.m., while those scheduled for the afternoon session are expected by 12:00 p.m.
Shortlisted candidates will receive official notifications via text message, indicating their screening date, time, and venue. Applicants may also log in to the CSERP portal to reconfirm their details and instructions.
The Ministry further emphasized that the exercise is a critical compliance and integrity phase intended to verify identity, credentials, and physical fitness — adding that cooperation and punctuality will be strictly enforced to ensure a smooth screening process.
