The National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku is on records to have incited the youth to rise against the then Commissioner of the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC), Madam Charlotte Osei.

Prior to the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections in 2016, Sammi Awuku accused the Madam Charlotte Osei of setting a stage to deny the youth and the people of Ghana new and credible voters register for the 2016 elections.

He further added that his outfit will not sit down for Charlotte Osei to toy around with the future of Ghanaians, hence, inciting the youth to rise up and fight for their rights.

Sammi Awuku threatened violence by saying “The cost of a new credible voters register is cheaper than the cost of violence.”

Sammi Awuku violently wrote this on Facebook on October 30, 2015:

“By her posture and utterances, the EC boss is setting the stage to deny the youth and the people of Ghana a new and credible voters register for the 2016 elections. We will not sit down for our future to be toyed with. The cost of a new credible voters register is cheaper than the cost of violence. Guess its [sic] time for the Youth to Arise! We cannot afford to fail the masses in 2016. Youth Revolution imminent.”
