Over 13 Presidents attending Akufo-Addo’s investiture – Pius

Pius Enam Hadzide has revealed that over thirteen (13) presidents would be attending Akufo-Addo’s swearing-in ceremony to be held in Accra.

President-elect of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo would be sworn-in as President on Thursday, 8th January 2020 to continue his second term.

The high-profile ceremony according to the presidency shall be held at the new Parliament House and it is strictly by invitation with about 6,000 Police Officers to provide security on the day.

But, the Spokesperson of the Inauguration sub-committee of the Transitional Team, Pius Enam Hadzide in an interview on Asempa FM on Tuesday revealed that over 13 Presidents are expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo on January 7, 2021.

He said;

“We have a President who among his peers is accorded a lot of respect. Don’t forget that our President is the current Chairman of the ECOWAS Commission of Heads of States and Government so he has enormous respect among his peers. We expect that even more will confirm to come.”
