In a decisive sweep against rising crime, the Ghana Police Service has rounded up three men believed to be behind a trail of violent robberies terrorising Afienya, Atadeka, Apollonia and several neighbouring communities within the Greater Accra Region.
The arrested suspects — Seth Noi Tetteh (alias “Wonder”), Selasie Emmanuel, and Sulemana Osman — were picked up between December 24 and 26, 2025, following an intensive intelligence-led operation, according to a police update shared on Facebook.
Investigators say Seth Tetteh was first detained at the Atadeka Police Station, where interrogation reportedly revealed his deep involvement in a sprawling robbery network. He is said to have confessed to orchestrating and participating in attacks across Afienya, Atadeka, Apollonia, Spintex Road, Airport Residential Area, Community 18, Ashaiman, Mataheko, and Oyibi, operating alongside unidentified accomplices.
Police operatives subsequently traced the syndicate to a suspected hideout at Kasoa Ofankor, where Selasie Emmanuel and Sulemana Osman were arrested. A search of the premises uncovered a cache of weapons, including a pump-action shotgun, a Bruni pistol, one BB cartridge, and three rounds of ammunition — all seized as exhibits to aid further investigations.
The suspects are currently in police custody, as security agencies intensify efforts to smoke out remaining members of the gang and dismantle the entire criminal network.
Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and continue providing timely information to support ongoing security operations.
